Tony and& Judith Hughes-Lewis
 Tony & Judith Hughes-Lewis moved from UK to Madeira in 2002. Tony established the company of Island Homes Lda in 2003 to meet the growing demand for assistance in property or land purchase by those wanting to relocate or own a holiday home on Madeira. Some of Tony’s clients wanted their properties to be rented out for holiday use for all or part of the year so Judith set up Island Homes Rentals in 2004 and was joined by Tony in this side of the business in January 2009.
Tony has a background of property construction and management. His family company, founded in England in 1919, is still going strong as a property investment company today. He achieved senior officer rank during his 27 year career as a fighter/bomber pilot in the RAF and, after taking early retirement, spent 10 years running a country house hotel and managing his family property portfolio.
Judith has worked in administration, hospitality, marketing and PR. As a military wife for many years she experienced long periods of living in rented accommodation, both in UK and overseas, and appreciates how important it is for your holiday renting to be simple to book, suitable for your needs and efficiently organized so that you have no concerns other than enjoying your stay.
